Blogger's real-world test: new DeepSeek V4.1 Flash hits 99.41% cache hit rate on 500M tokens
AlchainHust · x · 2026-10-17
Blogger Alchain ran 10+ complex agent tasks on the newly released DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017, burning through 500M tokens — and got a staggering 99.41% cache hit rate. Of 487M input tokens in one day, only 2.9M missed the cache, suggesting DeepSeek leads the industry at using caching to slash API costs.
Officially, the release is a Pareto improvement over its predecessor: stronger benchmarks, faster task completion, and shorter outputs. It's live on the web app and API, optimized for DeepSeek Harness, Tencent CodeBuddy, and WorkBuddy; DeepSeek Harness v0.2.1-rc.1+ is recommended.
