Santiago and Wojtek share the preface to their new book: in mid-2024 NannyML had only months of runway left, and the team bet on writing an ML Metrics book in 3 months to sell 20,000 copies. It took over two years and didn't save the company, but the book — 107 metrics — is finally out in October 2026.
