Prototype drowned in electrical noise: a logic analyzer to the rescue
StewartalsopIII · x · 2026-10-17
The author's hardware prototype failed, picking up pure electrical noise compared with baselines gathered on a Mac and Raspberry Pi. On a friend's advice he bought a cheap 24MHz 8-channel logic analyzer and is wiring it up following the instructions, planning to re-measure against his baselines. His takeaway: in the era of AI assistance, "just do it" beats reading manuals — understanding comes from doing.
