Castwerk: a local ComfyUI studio chaining consistent persona videos via frame anchoring
dizzle_69 · reddit · 2026-10-17
Reddit user dizzle69 built Castwerk, a desktop app wrapping a local ComfyUI install for chaining consistent persona videos. The flow: pick a persona (a LoRA plus settings, synthetic characters only); an LLM drafts scene cards from an idea for you to edit and approve; generate an image first, then video from the picked image; a "Continue" step takes the last 22 frames plus audio of a clip as the anchor for the next shot, chaining clips instead of isolated 5-second generations, with a seam check flagging jumps at joins. Everything runs locally. Known weakness: face and outfit drift after 3 chained parts, now being fixed. The author is gathering feature requests before making it installable.
