Super Trouper v0.5.0 ships Pattern tools for Frida-powered MCP reverse engineering workflows
neathack · reddit · 2026-10-17
The author released Super Trouper v0.5.0, a single-binary Go stdio MCP server exposing Frida for authorized app reverse engineering.
Key changes:
- Frida Core DevKit updated to v17.23.2
- appfind/appfrontmost gain minimal, metadata, and full scope arguments
- packageinstall/packagelist manage npm packages used by scriptcreate imports
- New Pattern lifecycle tools: patterncreate/list/read/delete, plus patterndescribe (compile patterns, return types and diagnostics) and patterndecode (decode target memory via declared Pattern types)
The post also recaps v0.3–v0.4 features (memory read/write, module/thread listing, npm support, CodeShare search) and asks for practical feedback on package and Pattern workflows.
