Indie dev builds second-brain app with ChatGPT Work; Apple approves it on first review
Emojinapp · reddit · 2026-10-17
A Reddit user shares Cohestry, a Markdown second-brain app prototyped on a walk using ChatGPT Work with Astra 6. The generated prototype compiled, launched, and worked on the first try in Xcode. Claude Opus 5.5 implemented the 3D graph visualization that connects related notes and resurfaces old ideas. The iPhone app is now live and passed App Store review in one round; a Mac version with Apple Notes import and an MCP bridge for Claude, Codex and other agents is coming. Built to keep persistent project context instead of rebuilding it across agents.
