Reflection AI Launches Mirror, an Open Coding Agent Optimized for Beam
sloppenheimer · x · 2026-10-17
Reflection AI engineer nayshins unveiled Mirror, an open-source coding agent he has iterated on since joining the company, optimized for Beam and installable via uv tool install reflection-mirror.
The GitHub repo (mirror-beta, 14 stars) describes Mirror as Reflection's agent harness, currently in beta: it explores codebases, edits files, runs commands and tests, and works on tasks in separate git worktrees. Note the repo hosts beta binaries and feedback only — not source code. It supports macOS 15+ on Apple Silicon and x86-64/ARM64 Linux with glibc 2.28+, with an installer that sets up uv and Python automatically.
