Max Tegmark retweeted Bernie Sanders on a lawsuit filed by eight state Attorneys General (seven Republicans) against OpenAI, alleging reckless development of ChatGPT endangered the public. Arkansas AG Tim Griffin accused the company of keeping "its foot on the gas," releasing increasingly powerful models without adequate safeguards as profits took priority over safety.
