Air Street Capital's Nathan Benaich notes a State of AI 2025 prediction may soon land: "a deepfake/agent-driven cyber attack triggers the first NATO/UN emergency debate on AI security."
Per FT, G7 finance ministers meeting in Bangkok alongside the IMF annual gathering agreed to run simulated "tabletop exercises" to prepare for AI-driven attacks on banks, amid rising fears of "unknown unknowns."
The shared 2025 scorecard also shows: open-sourcing of frontier models and a Chinese lab topping a major leaderboard (Kimi K3) marked YES; agentic checkout share, an AI movie winning praise, and a real-time generative Twitch hit marked NO.
