CogniCore MCP server gives ChatGPT and Claude one shared memory
Neither-Witness-6010 · reddit · 2026-10-16
CogniCore is a hosted memory MCP server: point ChatGPT and Claude at the same endpoint with the same GitHub account and they read/write one shared memory store.
- 10 tools: remember/recall by relevance, pull category-level failures or wins, turn repeated failures into recommendations, prompt-injection scanning, atomic session save/resume, context compression without an LLM call
- Setup: one claude mcp add command or a custom connector in Claude Desktop / ChatGPT (Developer Mode required)
- Honest limits: no vector DB, retrieval via TF-IDF/BM25; LongMemEval multihop strict recall@5 goes 78.8% → 85.2% at 5 chunks, 87.2% → 92.8% at 10
- MIT-licensed, runs locally via PyPI, listed in the official MCP registry
