Scoble demos Braid+Folio: local AI context sync across Macs, one-click site publishing
Scobleizer · x · 2026-10-16
Robert Scoble demos Intersignal's Braid 1.9.4 with built-in Folio: he writes a note on his MacBook Pro, shares it to his Mac Studio via Braid, then pulls it into Folio — which shows the original source beside a public article preview for precise review before approval, then exports a full website package in one click.
Braid is built for carrying project context between multiple local machines:
- Share selected notes between approved rigs, with send/receive/accept status tracking
- Local chat can use shared Channel notes, and you can inspect exactly what's supplied to the model
- Each rig controls who can send, receive, and use its notes; ordinary conversations never auto-forward
- Runs on your own Ollama models, cross-platform (macOS/Windows/Linux)
The whole pipeline — private workspace to publishable content — runs on the user's own machines and models.
