Visual Lean: drag-and-drop GUI for the Natural Numbers Game runs Lean 4 in WASM
MilesCranmer · x · 2026-10-16
Autumn Mapes, advised by Timothy Gowers, Miles Cranmer and Matthew Colbrook, built Visual Lean — isomorphic to the classic Natural Numbers Game but playable by clicking and dragging instead of typing.
- Built on Lean4.js, a WASM port of Lean 4; verification runs locally on desktop and mobile.
- The GUI code was written with the help of Codex and Claude Code; all source is GPL-3.0 on GitHub.
- A more intuitive on-ramp for beginners in Lean formalization.
