Fan builds 2-minute Claude mascot film in Blender entirely via Claude Code

A Reddit user directed a 2-minute Blender cinematic of Clawd (Claude's mascot) with zero manual modeling — Claude Code handled everything via Python/Blender API from a creative brief and a 2D sprite.
Key technical details:
- Rebuilt Clawd in 3D by measuring sprite pixels, with a bone rig for waving, hopping and squash-and-stretch
- Modeled a human face, hands and knit sweater using SDFs meshed with OpenVDB, 16,000 hair strands, plus a skeleton and small IK solver for typing
- Built the room, a 5-storey building, vines, trees and a feathered robin rig
- Achieved a seamless 'fly into the screen' shot with a portal trick: rendering the room from a mapped camera and projecting it onto the laptop screen
- Composed music and SFX in Python (numpy) timed to the animation; rendered with EEVEE and assembled with ffmpeg
Rendered on a single RTX 5060: 7 hours for the full 1080p version. Unofficial fan work, not affiliated with Anthropic.
