Claude Code quirk: team member agent replies never reach the lead agent

A user notices a Claude Code multi-agent detail: the lead agent can ask a team member agent a question, and the member replies (as a plain message without tools), but that reply is never sent back to the lead — prompting the author to experiment more with harnesses.
