Agents forget everything between sessions: shared context layer pitches a fix
_jaydeepkarale · x · 2026-10-16
A widely shared take on a common pain point: AI coding agents are great at writing code, but close the session and you spend the first 10 minutes of the next day re-explaining what changed, why decisions were made, and what's left. The problem isn't the agent—it's the context.
The accompanying diagram shows the proposed fix: normally each agent's session context is isolated and inaccessible to future sessions; with Fulcra as a user-managed shared context layer, multiple agent sessions can read and write the same persistent memory, preserving state across sessions.
