TimeRSI: self-improving agentic deployment boosts frozen time-series foundation models
GeorgiaTech · hf · 2026-10-16
Georgia Tech, USC and Samay AI introduce TimeRSI, a self-improving agentic deployment system around frozen time-series forecasting foundation models.
- A coding agent translates task descriptions into executable pipeline changes and tests each revision on historical forecasting windows
- Error-guided code revisions and adaptive pipeline selection address two challenges: calendar information entering via inputs vs. a separate predictor, and pipelines degrading as forecasting conditions change
- Improves zero-shot forecasting without altering the frozen models
