USTC paper uses speculative sampling to cut latency in interactive video generation
ustc · hf · 2026-10-16
A USTC-led paper introduces Speculative Sampling for interactive video generation: by padding with noise latents and caching predictions for reuse, it supports large bidirectional windows at low latency. The method removes the waiting-time lower bound imposed by chunk boundaries, shifting optimization from shrinking chunks to accelerating per-chunk sampling, enabling large bidirectional video models to serve interactive use cases.
