The Total War: Shogun 2 remaster is being review-bombed on Steam over poor AI-upscaled graphics, performance issues, new bugs, a $10 upgrade fee, and Creative Assembly delisting the original. Game studio founder draginol says AI in games is fine but badly used tools degrade UX as much as badly used Photoshop or Maya — he wonders whether the backlash reflects genuinely bad AI use or zoomers fighting "current bad thing."
