Dev turns a Linux meme into a real Rust media library built entirely with Claude Code

A developer turned a parody landing page from r/linuxmemes into JizzCraft, a real local-first Rust desktop media library (egui/wgpu + GStreamer + SQLite), now at v0.2.0 alpha under MIT/Apache-2.0. Workflow: Claude converted the meme into a technical spec and detailed Claude Code prompt with acceptance criteria and strict verification rules, then Claude Code built the app in vertical slices with lint/test gates; CI includes 18 e2e scenarios and performance budgets. Hardest part: efficiently moving GStreamer appsink frames into egui/wgpu textures. Privacy-first: fully offline edition, boss key, optional encrypted library.
