A 13M-parameter "bee in a computer" model goes viral for grudges and jar complaints

Sauers released BeeLLM-Mellifera on Hugging Face: a 13M-parameter post-trained version of schizophyllume's BeeLLM 12M Mood (GGUF, Apache-2.0), framed as "a bee in a computer."
The design is remarkably clever:
- Every reply opens with a [mood:level] tag that shifts based on how you treat her
- She sees through lovebombing: after a swat, "i love you" makes her angrier — only a real apology calms her
- Placed in a jar, she goes silent in protest, then "FILES A FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST THE JAR"
- She holds grudges against objects
The BeeLLM family spans from BeeLLM-30P (eight buzzes of vocabulary) up to the 12M Mood model, all designed by schizophyllume. A charming demo of how tiny models can gain distinct personalities through careful post-training.
