How to hook Claude Code or Codex up to iMessage in 3 steps
jacob_posel · x · 2026-10-16
A developer shares a reproducible recipe for connecting Grokbot, Claude Code, or Codex to iMessage via the HQ Desktop App:
- Enable iMessage in HQ Desktop App > Marketplace;
- Ask Grokbot to use the hq core pack to message you from your Apple account/phone number and monitor for responses;
- Run the /hq-imessage command in Claude Code/Codex to do the same.
Once set up, your coding agent can ping you and reply over iMessage, effectively giving agents a phone-side notification and interaction channel.
