7 months of monitoring reveal how Google Discover cards changed in 2026

1492.vision published a detailed analysis of Google Discover's card mechanics after 7 months of test-account monitoring. Cards now carry route, Knowledge Graph entity lists, a new Field 50 (one entity picked per reader, added in August), Field 47 (up to five Google topics, July), Field 48 (source), and nine f22 prediction scores. In related feeds, a nuclear-power seed article generated 38 cards: 14 sharing the seed's entities, 21 self-recirculated from the same domain (self-circulation varies widely by site). Notably, the f22.2 score recovered after a June recalibration, but its click-predictive power (AUC) kept declining into October.
