Suno Studio brings classic sidechain compression to the browser
suno · x · 2026-10-16
Suno's official thread walks through sidechain compression, a technique dating back to early radio—engineers fed a filtered copy of an announcer's mic into a compressor for de-essing and auto-ducking background music. Dance music later made it a signature sound, defining French House and the EDM wave. Suno Studio now supports sidechaining, running entirely in the browser.
