LightSuite: fast cell detection and whole-brain atlas registration on a standard workstation
hisspikeness · x · 2026-10-15
The El-Boustani lab at the University of Geneva released LightSuite, a preprint led by Dimokratis Karamanlis. The toolchain covers the pipeline from single cells to whole-brain maps, delivering fast cell detection and atlas registration on a standard workstation — no large compute cluster required — substantially lowering the barrier to whole-brain-scale microscopy analysis.
