YouTube Music rolls out generative AI content labels for tracks
Ars Technica AI · rss · 2026-10-15
Google is adding a generative AI label to YouTube Music, on app and web, so listeners know whether a track was made with AI tools — mirroring the disclosure it added to AI-generated YouTube videos earlier this year. The company isn't banning AI music, framing the label as a response to user demand for transparency.
