Dev builds tool that learns spring animation parameters from your mouse movements via handwired
gabe_ragland · x · 2026-10-15
gaberagland demoed a small tool that uses handwired (by chenglou) to learn spring animation settings from your actual mouse movements, deriving physics parameters that match your feel.
He admits handwiring three spring parameters is overkill, but hopes it sparks similar ideas — using AI to reverse-engineer animation/design parameters from real interaction data.
