Claude Code sidebar redesign removes chat shortcuts and running indicators

A Reddit user reports Claude Code's sidebar redesign removed the quick-access chat list between 'Customize' and 'Pinned', forcing multiple clicks to check running Routines. Worse, there's no yellow indicator for pending tasks or grey indicator for thinking — no status display at all. The author calls it a major downgrade that made his workflow 10x worse.
