Bull case for AI demand: if superintelligence works, there is no demand ceiling
JOBhakdi · x · 2026-10-15
Investor JOBhakdi argues the entire AI/SI demand question reduces to one issue: does AI actually deliver intelligence and solve problems?
His thesis:
- If yes, and intelligence keeps generalizing, there is no demand ceiling — true intelligence will be consumed ad infinitum, so compute can't be overbuilt.
- Willingness to pay rises without limit, because the value created has no ceiling.
- As SI helps you do daily work ever more effectively, you'll consume more of it and attempt ever bolder projects, becoming what he calls a "Super Pioneer." SI creates SPs.
Conclusion: the only question is whether SI can already contribute to what you do today. If it can and the trajectory is upward, he claims the economic singularity for the SI buildout has already been reached.
