Running 2 agents on the same data breaks everything — Omnigraph offers a fix
sarahdrinkwater · x · 2026-10-15
svpino breaks down why running two agents on the same data breaks everything: agent 2 mutates data seconds after agent 1 read it, so agents waste tokens on stale data, overwrite each other's work, and redo finished tasks. Prompting can't fix this — you need proper coordination. He recommends Omnigraph, an open-source graph database for context assembly and multi-agent coordination: it gives multiple agents a single shared place to work from, with each agent getting its own assembled view. As he puts it, everything old in software engineering is new again.
