A bit of Modal trivia surfaced: founder Erik Bernhardsson once had an offer to join Snowflake among its first 10 employees — and turned it down to build his own company.
The poster's takeaway for those lamenting missing early seats at Cursor, Mercor, etc.: don't dwell on it. Just build.
