Autonomous Lamp: a $999 open-source desk robot lamp you can customize
dee_hw · x · 2026-10-15
autonomouslabs launched Autonomous Lamp, an open-source companion robot shaped like a desk lamp, priced at $999 (Lamp Pro) with free shipping starting Nov 30. It chats, sees objects through its camera, and lets users customize its voice and personality. It can connect to agent workflows to run tasks and hook into custom smart-home controls. The company is also opening a builder ecosystem: developers can add physical/digital skills and sell robot experiences for shops, teams, schools and creators, with Autonomous providing the hardware and OS. Photos show the articulated lamp robot on a real desk.
