AukiLabs Built a Real Supermarket Inside Its Office So AI Agents Can Run a Store

At the Robots & Beers meetup in HK, Dominique Paul discovered AukiLabs built an entire supermarket inside its office, where employees pay for snacks. The point: the company's product provides an agent-friendly spatial representation of physical spaces, so an agent can actually run a store—instructing staff to change layouts or adjust prices based on customer behavior (reminiscent of Andon Labs). The team started in 2019 building computer vision for Warhammer players.
