MacPaw has released Eney, a proactive AI assistant for Mac and iPhone, now live on the App Store (free, v1.0.1).
- Reads email, calendar, and connected apps to flag what actually needs you — the unanswered email, the unprepped call, the neglected Downloads folder — then preps the next step and waits for your go-ahead
- Eney Wand lets you highlight anything on screen to summarize, translate, or turn it into a calendar event
- Ships with ready-made workflows for drafting email, scheduling, search, and translation; doubles as a companion app for Setapp users
Author Jaynit Makwana quips that Siri has been on the Mac for years and still can't tell you what you're late on — "I'd swap Siri for this tomorrow."
