mitsuhiko builds a full Python IDE for iOS in an afternoon with new AI models
mitsuhiko · x · 2026-10-15
Armin Ronacher (mitsuhiko) says the new models are "pretty crazy": in one mostly passive afternoon plus a single flight, he built an IDE for Python on iOS that runs Pyodide, includes a debugger, embeds linter and formatter, hooks up a pi-durable powered coding agent, and integrates iCloud Drive. He also showcased a solid-js inspired reactive Python layer that can bring up native UI.
