At the AI in Science Summit in Dublin, the European Commission launched the AI in Science Enablers initiative under the RAISE framework, with NVIDIA as a key private-sector partner.
- Open resources: 250+ open models, 250+ datasets, 1,400+ open source projects spanning healthcare, robotics, climate, physical AI; tooling includes Nemotron, BioNeMo, PhysicsNeMo, Earth-2 and ALCHEMI
- Training: NVIDIA DLI launched a free, openly licensed courseware hub adaptable for universities and supercomputing bootcamps
- Compute access: partnerships with national AI factories in France (AI2F), Spain (BSC) and Sweden to open sovereign compute to startups and SMEs; EuroHPC centers like CINECA and JSC offer free GPU access for open research
- Infrastructure: 35 supercomputers under construction across Europe will serve over 3 million researchers — Europe's largest single-year supercomputing buildout
