At the AI in Science Summit in Dublin, the European Commission launched the AI in Science Enablers Initiative (under the RAISE framework), and NVIDIA announced it is joining.
NVIDIA will provide the European research community with access to accelerated tools, models and platforms; compute, cloud, data and scientific resources; skills training and technical support; collaborative projects and pilots; and startup/ecosystem support. Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva said Europe's AI-for-science ambition requires industry and research partners working together. The program lowers the barrier for small labs, early-career scientists and science startups doing climate modeling, molecular design, and materials simulation.
