UniForge3D turns sparse-view images into high-fidelity 3D meshes, code released
camenduru · x · 2026-10-15
Researchers released UniForge3D, a method that jointly performs 3D reconstruction and generation from sparse, unposed images, with code now open-sourced.
- It models both tasks in a shared anchor-guided space, resolving the coordinate mismatch between camera-relative reconstruction and canonical-space generation; reconstruction preserves observed geometry while generation fills in unseen regions.
- The two branches bidirectionally exchange features to predict per-view point maps and a complete sparse voxel structure. Generated structure then establishes pixel-to-voxel correspondences, and the most informative input view is selected per voxel to guide detailed shape generation.
- The paper reports state-of-the-art appearance and geometry results; paper, project page, and code are all available.
