OpenAI's Tibo says reports of the Codex reset button being lost are 'greatly exaggerated'
BMarinov · reddit · 2026-10-15
A Reddit post shares screenshots from Tibo (@thsottiaux), who leads Codex & ChatGPT at OpenAI: after ten straight days of shipping updates (Day 9 included cutting the ChatGPT & Codex desktop app's on-disk state by 60%), he announced "The reports of my reset button being lost are greatly exaggerated — Day 10 / Reset, landing within the next 2 hours."
The "reset" refers to usage-limit reset functionality that the community feared had been removed; Tibo denied this and teased another update landing the same day.
