Fable's take on automating art: like driving a runner to the finish line
keenanisalive · x · 2026-10-15

Fable says not really: it assumes the point of art is the finished object, but for many artists the process is the reward—hands-on work, problem-solving, flow, and the sense the result came from them. Automating it away is "a bit like telling a runner they'd be happier being driven to the finish line."
