exe.dev Builds Radiant, a Fully Agent-Driven Figma Rival That Ships Real Code
davidcrawshaw · x · 2026-10-15
exe.dev engineer Bryan Mikaelian built Radiant, a Figma-like UI tool that is 100% agent-driven and generates mockups constrained to what the current codebase can actually ship — "implementation fidelity."
The agent scans the codebase across layers, pulls existing styles and components, then produces high-fidelity redesign options. In a demo using Claude Fable, Radiant redesigned the site's user dropdown menu, extracting current styles from code; the mockup closely matched what shipped (see image comparison).
The author frames this as a healthier way to "snack" on small, shippable UI tasks — mockups that are in-scope and technically feasible rather than aspirational designs engineers must reject.
