Codex Windows browser-control runtime crashes at startup with MXC launcher HRESULT 0x80070003

Issue #53518 on openai/codex: when a Codex/Work task connects to a Windows PC, the browser-control/Computer Use skill bundle (26.1007.21434) crashes before returning any browser inventory, tab handle, or screenshot.
- Initial await cua.getState() call fails with noderepl kernel exited unexpectedly and MXC launcher: cannot locate required Windows platform directory: HRESULT 0x80070003
- Earlier attempts returned trusted Node process exited unexpectedly; kernel reset; an explicit JS runtime reset on Oct 12 did not restore access
- Selecting Edge or Chrome also failed during runtime startup; the browser extension was reportedly installed correctly but the agent could not verify
- Read-only shell access works, but the noderepl entry point required by the skill is not exposed in the task's tool catalog
