SplitHub open-sources MCP tools that let coding agents run A/B tests
adbobro · reddit · 2026-10-15
The maker of SplitHub released an A/B testing SDK for React/Next.js with a local stdio MCP server, MIT licensed (requires Node.js ≥22.13).
The MCP tools let a coding agent create experiments, push the TypeScript config, start/pause/finish tests, and read results — e.g. testing a shorter pricing headline against the current one and measuring signups. Variant assignment uses a local hash, with no model calls or remote fetches during rendering.
One boundary: statistical verdicts come from SplitHub Cloud; self-hosted storage returns only raw visitors, conversions, rates and revenue, so agents should report those counts rather than inventing a winner.
