Claude Code generates a 60fps app demo video from UI code, no screen recording
ruprechttmb · reddit · 2026-10-15
A Redditor had Claude Code build a demo video for their Mac app symbolsweep without any screen recording: rebuild the real UI components as a web page, drive it off a virtual clock for frame-exact timing, render frame-by-frame at 60fps with Playwright, synthesize sound effects via Web Audio, and stitch mp4/gif with ffmpeg. Claude Code can't watch video, so it reviews contact sheets of frames plus loudness analysis and waveforms to iterate timing and volume. Since the demo uses a UI copy that can drift, a check renders both and fails the build on mismatch.
