ASENA: A Coding Agent Writes and Fixes Programs On-the-Fly to Drive a G1 Humanoid
Lianhuiq · x · 2026-10-15
An NVIDIA team (incl. Jim Fan, Yuke Zhu) unveiled ASENA: a G1 humanoid fetched a Pringles can with no pre-built map and no task-specific training. A coding agent wrote, ran, and fixed the robot's programs on the fly, and self-evolves by saving what works as reusable code—no retraining needed. The agent doesn't just operate the robot; it helps build what the robot can do next.
