OpenBB is a free, open-source alternative to the $20,000-per-year Bloomberg Terminal, available on GitHub.
The terminal supports fundamental analysis (income, balance, cash, ratios, earnings), technical analysis (EMA, MACD, RSI, doji, bands, obv), quantitative analysis (chains, comparison, sensitivities) and portfolio optimization, with data from Tradier, FDATA, Polygon, Finnhub, Yahoo Finance and more — including deep metrics like short interest, dark pool volume and days-to-cover.
