Dev turns his AI agents into pixel coworkers in a self-hosted isometric office dashboard
Emergency-Type-3771 · reddit · 2026-10-14
A Reddit developer running a main AI assistant plus Claude Code and Codex coding agents built an open-source, self-hosted dashboard that renders each agent as a character at a desk in an isometric pixel office. Working agents show their current activity (coding, running commands, waiting on the user) on their monitors; idle agents fall asleep at their desks or wander to the coffee machine, and sub-agents sit next to whoever launched them. What started as a joke has become his primary way of monitoring agent activity, and he's asking how others track their agents.
