LeRobot adds remote inference via Zenoh: robot stays light, policy runs on cloud GPU
kamathsblog · x · 2026-10-14
LeRobot integrated Zenoh for remote inference: the policy runs on a GPU server or cloud while cameras, motors and recording stay on the robot. It streams action chunks ahead of execution for smooth motion, works over LAN or internet with TLS, and lets a laptop or small board drive the robot.
