Amp's Puck agent now talks to ChatGPT and Claude via MCP
Amp (Sourcegraph) · rss · 2026-10-13
Sourcegraph's Amp coding tool now exposes its Puck agent through MCP, letting users interact with it from ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP clients.
- Two tools are offered: puck for interacting with your Puck (which can browse your threads, find prior work, and coordinate agents) and orbs for an interactive view of running orbs.
- Example workflow: brainstorm an idea with ChatGPT voice mode on a walk, send it straight to Puck for implementation, and check on Amp progress in the same conversation.
- Setup: Settings > Puck > Add to Claude, or point any MCP client at https://ampcode.com/mcp and sign in with your Amp account.
