Dev builds MCP tool that turns Claude into an automated usability tester for any website

A developer built Cobalt Capture, an MCP connector that turns Claude into a product tester: assign it a persona ("a busy parent signing up for the first time") and it walks through real sign-up flows, screenshots every step, and returns a review ranked by actual blockers.
Key design choices:
- Each study is written as a fixed playbook Claude pulls at run time, so re-runs after fixes are comparable instead of improvised
- The connector takes its own screenshots, letting Claude review public pages from plain chat; sign-up tests need Claude Code or Cowork for browser access
- Also does pricing-page and homepage teardowns plus side-by-side competitor comparisons
A sample teardown of Claude's own pricing page flags that every paid plan sells "more usage" without quantifying it. The whole tool was written 100% with Claude Code and is free in the Claude connector directory.
