Sentry CEO on Claude Code projects: long-running master conversations beat naive threading
zeeg · x · 2026-10-14
Sentry CEO David Cramer sees Claude Code's new projects behavior as a convergence on the pieces of the software factory that actually work: larger, longer-running tasks need trackable artifacts and decomposition. His own agent (Junior, multiplayer) will differ, but he thinks it's the right direction. He tried the now-trending long-running master conversation early on — every message a new thread with recent history embedded, inefficient and uncached, but far more reliable with context retention good enough that users didn't notice.
